Participated in the creation and subsequent sale of the World’s Longest Maple Doughnut. Worked with a team of other advertising students to develop an advertising campaign for the event that would appeal to college students. Researched potential media buys and made the decisions about which avenues to pursue. The event was a complete success with the entire doughnut being sold that day for over $3,000.00. All proceeds from the sale went to the local food pantry. The event garnered significant media attention, and was covered in 19 major news outlets, including several outside the state of Utah.
